Hach's digital Solitax sc process probes are designed to accurately determine turbidity and suspended solids in accordance with DIN EN ISO standards. With a very wide measuring range for both turbidity and solids, the Solitax sc family covers a broad spectrum of applications and is ideal for drinking water, wastewater, surface water and sludge treatment applications. Using the infrared dual scattered light method, Solitax sc provides a unique, colour-independent solids measurement and reliable sludge analysis.
Instruments in the Solitax sc family can be customised to suit every application: models are available as immersion or inline probes, for measuring turbidity and solids, with plastic or stainless steel housings, and with or without a self-cleaning wiper system. Hach Solitax sc sensors use a dual scattered light method to measure suspended solids in the most difficult dark sludge or light lime matrices. The self-cleaning wiper ensures accurate results even with aggressive biological growth and gas bubbles.
Solitax sc sensors connect to all SC controllers, providing versatile output options including 4-20 mA Output, Modbus RS485, Profibus or HART.
The Prognosys Predictive Diagnostics Add-On is available to make readings from your instruments even more reliable. Prognosys monitors and displays the reliability of instrument measurement values on an easy-to-read colour screen and schedules upcoming maintenance tasks.
