Hach's digital ultrasonic probe Sonatax sc continuously measures sludge level or sludge blanket height.
To ensure the highest possible accuracy at all times, the probe adjusts its sensitivity to suit changing solids concentrations and sludge profiles in the settling tank. Signals reflected from structures in the tank (pipes, rods, etc.) have no effect on the measurement and can be filtered out with the software provided. The probe is factory-calibrated for long-term calibration stability. Magnetically coupled wipers reduce maintenance.
Various mounting devices are available, including chain mounts for scrapers.
Sonatax sc connects directly to all SC controllers, providing versatile output options including: 4-20 mA Output, Modbus RS485, Profibus or HART.
