• IO9004 analog 0/4-20 mA outputs and inputs
The IO9004 offers 3 analog 0/4-20 mA outputs and 2 analog 0/4-20 mA inputs. The outputs transmit sample events or logged data to SCADA systems. The inputs can be used to bring external measurements, such as from an existing water quality sensor or flow meters, into the sampler application. The AS950's standard memory can log any of these inputs.
• IO9001 or IO9004 high-voltage relays and digital outputs
The IO9004 includes 4 high-voltage relay outputs, while the IO9001 includes one high-voltage relay output. These relays are used to indicate alarms or events and can also be programmed to switch AC mains line voltage to control higher electrical functions. Examples include a warning light or audible signal and switching a diversion valve or gate, or passing a control signal to another machine. In addition, the 4 digital outputs of the IO9004 provide event-based control to SCADA systems and PLCs.
