The AS950 AWRS is a rugged, weatherproof sampler with an integrated refrigerator for applications that require temperature control to preserve samples. Every AS950 includes a peristaltic pump with spring-loaded rollers and a standard liquid detection sensor for best-in-class sample volume accuracy. A USB connection and an auxiliary port for pulse or 4-20 inputs are also standard. Factory-installed options include sensor ports for integrated Hach water quality, level or flow, a port for Modbus RS485 communication, or a rain gauge and an alternative non-contact liquid detection sensor. Finally, inputs and outputs can be expanded with the IO9001 for a single high-voltage relay and the IO9004 for a comprehensive set of analog and digital outputs and relays. The AS950 is fully configurable with all of these options, and many of the most popular combinations are pre-configured in the part numbers below.
Hach's AWRS cabinet is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions while preserving sample integrity. The cabinet features:
• An energy-efficient, top-mounted compressor that vents heat outward instead of into the sampler cabinet
• An IP24-rated enclosure that keeps dirt and water out of the instrument
• An optional backup battery and controller compartment heater
